Safety is more important than looks

NCD Governor Powes Parkop must be thinking about the removal of razor wires from residential properties and the increase in criminal activities.

The law that justifies the removal of the security fences around residential and commercial properties was made to keep the city friendlier for visitors and a place to remember.

On the flip side, we have personal and property security concerns.

The city hall is unfazed by concerns being raised by residents, some of them have had bad experiences with criminals, which they do not want repeated.

The removal of razor wires is like trimming the hair and putting makeup on a drug edict or a schizophrenic.

Governor Parkop, why dress up the city just for our visitors?

It is even disrespectful to our visitors to put up a face.

Our visitors are not dumb.

Why pretend that our capital city is safe when it is not?

The 60% reduction in crime as claimed by city hall has no justification.

What matters most now is the safety and security of our people and businesses, not a momentary hype and pleasure by our visitors.

Unimpressed
