MOROBE Governor Ginson Saonu has denied claims from a group of people who demanded he repay money and other goods he and his team had used during and after the 2017 national election.
The group fronted at the Morobe government headquarters demanded that Saonu met their demands.
Saonu responded that some of the group were not genuine.
“Some are not genuine people.
“These are the same group of people with claims from services even before I was elected,” he said.
“I didn’t let service providers down.
“I’ve done all the payments and these people fronting up at Tutumang are not genuine.”
Saonu said there were no services provided by this group and labelled them as “paper contractors”.
