 A COMPANY and the Multi Skills Training School in Lae have completed a training programme in construction high risk for its employees to work in Australia. 

The three-month training programme initiated by North Build Construction was delivered by the schools.

High-risk work focuses on rigging, scaffolding, working at heights, elevating work platforms and crane operations.

The training prepares employees to perform competently in high risk work in Australia.

Graham Boddington, the general manager of NorthBuild Construction, said the programme would greatly help its employees in Australia.

The company has already arranged travel documents for three employees to Australia. 

The courses were delivered principal trainer and assessor Shadrach Anderson who has advanced Australian standard licences and certificates in construction high-risk work.

“The course recipients will utilise the vital skills training supplied in delivering quality performance and demonstrating competence in construction high risk work in Australia,” he said.
