Schoolboys comp starts April 20-21

 THE Port Moresby School Boys Rugby League, the biggest schoolboys’ competition in the country, kicks off over April 20-21.

This was the message from PMSBRL chairman Ben Kaupa confirming the start of the competition, which will attract thousands of school children in the National Capital District.

Kaupa said all coaches, school sports masters, mistress and interested parents to attend a special general meeting at the Coronation Primary School at noon today.

Kaupa said respective stakeholders from Moresby North-West, North-East and South should make every attempt to attend the meeting as it was very important for their future participation.

He said all schools in the electorates should be registered and must pick up their registration forms during the meeting.

Kalamo said t the school boys in Hiri East (Gaire) were on next Wednesday and Hiri West (Poreporena) on Thursday.

He said the electorates should take ownership of the new structure to allow easy management of the affairs of the school boys league in Port Moresby.

This will be a big year for school boys as the PNG Rugby League Foundation development programme aims to develop the many talents in the country.
