Scoreline shameful

THE recent scoreline between Buang FC and other National Soccer League (NSL) teams in this highly-recognised soccer competition in PNG is very shameful to its many fans and people.
Their first game against Lae City Toti was 8-2 in favour of Toti, Morobe Wawens gave them a 2-1 beating and Madang FC targeted them easily with 6-1 scoreline last weekend.
Many soccer fans around the country cannot believe this.
They know that Buang is an area which has produced many players in the past years such as the Mali brothers, James Bayen and many more.
All players in the current Buang FC team and their coaching staff are incompetent and need to be changed.
The franchise owner should host a soccer tournament in Buang LLG to select a squad to represent it in such big soccer competitions in PNG.
The team comprises of soccer players from other provinces, however, used the name Buang.
The franchise owner himself is from Lagis in Buang.
Selectors, please, do the right thing by selecting local boys from village-based tournament. See what they will come with in terms of soccer skills or else change the name Buang FC.
