SEALING work on the four-lane road from Kagamuga airport to Keltiga Junction, in Western Highlands, are expected to takes place next month, Works Secretary David Wereh says.
Wereh said work had finally picked up after some delay due to design issues.
“We were there on Sunday last week and have seen some good progress.
“The major issue is on the culvert replacement works and that seems to be critical,” Wereh said.
“But we are happy that the contractor has picked up work and we should start to seal the first section anytime in the next two weeks.”
Contractor China Harbour Engineering Company is on schedule to complete the K250 million road on time.
Wereh appealed to the people to support the contractor.
The road is expected to be completed next year.
