BLACK Swan International security firm has established a partnership with the Port Moresby Fiss-Potts Rugby Club to sponsor their programme.
This weekend at the Sir John Guise Stadium they stage the BSI Rugby 10s with 10 teams confirmed for the challenge.
The club also plans to attend an annual rugby tournament in Manila, Philippines, in September.
BSI chief executive officer Brian Kelly, pictured, a former rugby player and coach especially with the junior development, was pleased to support the organisation with K10,000 as its community obligation.
Kelly said to support a charity organisation was akin to supporting a good cause as it would benefit players, former players and others involved in rugby.
He said his firm was also proud to associate with the Royals Rugby League Club and rugby union as well as their commitment to the community to involve youths in sports development.
“This is part of our community obligation and we are proud of doing it for the people of PNG,” Kelly said.
Fiss-Potts president Jack Kariko thanked Black Swan International for the kind gesture to recognise their organisation and the charity work they do in the community.
“This is a plus for us as it will help our charity commitments in the community including raising funds for needy ones,” Kariko said.
“We are here to help and support the community.”
