Segeyaro defended

Letters

People who criticise James Segeyaro for his change of heart to align with the Kumuls for the rugby league World Cup are shallow and lack substance.
Don’t you even understand Segeyaro’s reasons for snubbing the Kumuls back then?
They are quite easy to understand. I say only those who are sick
in the head or, simply put, jealous, continue to attack him unfairly in both print and social media.
Segeyaro had at no time to come to defend himself against such malicious denigration.
He made the decision to not associate himself with the people who run the PNG Rugby Football League at the time because they had failed miserably to acknowledge the effort of his late father, Iffysoe.
Period.
No more explanation is needed.
While constructive criticisms are good, those who are hell-
bent on making baseless comments without substance
must bow out in shame and stop talking.
You are a liability and impediment to the growth of our No.1 sport in the country.
