RED wine and beer flowed at Sports Inn last Friday as friends and family celebrated the knighthood recently awarded to local businessman Luciano Cragnolini in the Queen’s birthday honours.
Sir Luciano first came to PNG 45 years ago and played a major part in establishing Port Moresby and construction in various parts of the country.
He was described by radio identity Justin Kili as a true friend.
Kili and Sir Luciano have known each other for almost 30 years as members of the Boroko Rotary club in the National Capital District.
Sir Luciano, head of L and A Construction Group, was knighted for his contribution to the construction industry and humanitarian contributions to PNG.
