Sir Michael deserved a better send off

GRAND Chief Sir Michael Somare being the founding Prime Minister and the father of this nation should have been given a huge farewell yesterday.
There should be a grand public farewell held in one of the stadiums in Port Moresby for all of us to say thank you and send him off into retirement.
The current politicians should leave their political differences behind and give him a true chief’s farewell.
Thank you Grand Chief for leading us through all these years.
May you enjoy more years ahead in your retirement.
