Six men, one woman turn to the Lord

Faith

SIX men and a woman have vowed to turn away from evil and give their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.
This happened at Gordon market on Saturday during an outreach programme conducted by the Christian Apostolic Fellowship Church youths of its 11 churches in the city.
It followed four nights of a youth empowerment programme conducted by the Seven-Mile Potters House International CAF Church.
Youth coordinator Caroline Lepatu said the youth empowerment programme was to instil godly principles in youths as guides.
“We conducted debates, preaching, Bible citing and public speaking with Christian references,” Lepatu said.
The programme started on Tuesday night and ended on Friday night.
The outreach programme also followed the same line of teaching.
“We were so thankful six young men who involve themselves in criminal activities at Gordon market gave their lives to God,” she said.
“To be a Christian is a challenge and we have to face life with the help of our good Lord who is always faithful to us.”
NCD Youth president Joshua Pokia welcomed the new converts who gave their lives to Jesus Christ.
