Slow cop response infuriating

WHILE the nation and sporting fraternity are mourning the loss of PNG’s beloved sporting icon, I am disappointed with the police’s handling of the main suspect.

Why should the NCD police boss call on the suspect to surrender instead of going to his house and arrest him?

Is it because he is a wantok of some top shots, hence the slow response?

This has strengthened the belief that there are two sets of law in PNG – one for the rich and famous and another for the downtrodden.

Until then, rest in peace brother Aquila Emil, you will not be forgotten.
