Slow start to classes at university

CLASSES at the University of Goroka got off to a slow start yesterday but is expected to pick up this week, an official says.
The registration of students continued through the weekend and were finalised yesterday.
A spokesman for the university’s media and communication unit said timetables for classes at various schools were released.
Full classes are expected tomorrow, Thursday and Friday.
Final year students will go out for their practical teaching and micro-teaching on Thursday and Friday.
Vice-Chancellor Dr Musawe Sinebare said the registration process had been completed with students now going back to their respective fields of studies.
Sinebare said the university’s administration allowed ample time for students returning from their home districts to register for their courses.
