Snipers sting Scorpions

SNIPERS hammered Scorpions 3-1 over the weekend in the NCD Volleyball Association match of the round at the Taurama Leisure Centre courts and maintained their unbeaten record.
The Scorpions started off on a good note, winning the first set.
Taking a three-game winning streak into the encounter, the Scorpions were expected to win the match without much hassle.
However, the Snipers served the next three sets in a shutout, turning the tables on the favourites.
Other men’s games played saw Ela Motors beat Vailima 3-2, Vanama overcome Gabagaba 3-1 and U-Mi yet beat After Dark 3-0.
