LAST Saturday’s clash between Goldie Snipers and Patterson Titans in the Port Moresby Suburban Rugby League ended in a 6-6 draw at the Kone Tigers Oval at Waigani.

It was an even tussle in the first half, resulting in a stalemate but both teams came alive in the second half with a try each.

The Titans, through winger Gensy Daniel, scored a try in the corner two minutes after the restart.

Hooker Dobi Ray’s conversion attempt was unsuccessful.

The Snipers evened play through centre Steven Asium.

Asium caught the ball from dummy-half Jeremick Seru, made a chip kick, re-gathered the ball and set five-eighth Rodney Kissi to score in the corner.  Seru converted to see the Snipers lead 6-4.

A minute remaining before full time, took advantage of a penalty to level the score at 6-6.
