THE Public Accounts Committee has issued a 14-day notice to state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and entities which deal with public funds to provide information on their operations. Committee chairman Sir John Pundari said they would be looking into the operations of the Mineral Resources Development Company, Mineral Resources Authority, Tourism Promotion Authority and the National Gaming and Control Board.
The committee will also look into the operation of the Health Department, in particular its medicine supply contract with the Borneo Pacific Pharmaceuticals. “We will into the operations of the Education Department and its TFF policy, the National Housing Corporation’s Duram Farm project and the National Museum and Arts Gallery’s sale of the old Parliament House.”
