Sohe, Ijivitari MPs praised

Letters

LET’S congratulate the two new MPs for Sohe and Ijivitari.
At last the people of Northern have spoken and made their point that they want a change in leadership.
We have chosen leaders of principles and integrity and I believe they will work with the Northern governor to deliver good services to the people in Ijivitari and Sohe districts.
The two new members joined our governor in the Kokopo camp of the Opposition Alliance.
To me that is a positive message and it shows that they will all work together for the benefit of the people of Oro.
Development has been lacking over the past decade in Collingwood Bay Area, North Coast, Kokoda and Musa-Managalas areas.
The electrification of Oro Bay Main Port is well overdue and having it will transform the quality of life of the oil palm growers and rural dwellers along the Oro Bay Road and the Kokoda Highway to Kokoda Station.
PNG Power can generate good income from here because most of the potential consumers in the area work in the oil palm plantations and earn a regular weekly income.
Our MPs have been given the mandate to represent our people so please serve the interest of the people first and you will not go wrong.
Stick to your principles and serve the people with dignity and honesty.
