SP Brewery supports Westpac awards

SP Brewery has for the third successive year stepped in to support the Westpac awards for women. 

General Manager Stan Joyce gave K20,000 to confirm the company’s contribution for the SP Entrepreneur Award, which is part of the Westpac outstanding awards for women for 2013.

Joyce said the company had always supported community initiatives and would continue its association through sports, promotion of cultural events and providing awareness on responsible drinking and gender equality.

Westpac managing director Ashleigh Matheson thanked SP for the support, saying it showed the highest social and moral values a company could have. He said both companies wanted to advance women.
