Speed up processing of NID cards

National Identification (NID) processing must be sped up this month and February because many students are travelling overseas.
The NID office here in Mt Hagen has been shut for several months.
Most of our Western Highlands students are traveling to Kundiawa and Goroka for NID processing.
The problem is that these
offices are not processing NID quickly.
I urge the NID head office in Port Moresby and all provincial NID offices to speed up the processing of NID for students.
This is so that they can travel overseas on time before commencement of their first semester.
