Spin Doctors lead Media Pool comp

PNG Media Pool minor premiers Spin Doctors lead the competition despite managing through a difficult season at the Arena Club Port Moresby.
The Spin Doctors are in number one spot in the top 8 in the 22-team competition.
Spin Doctors, CRE, SCAL Mirror, Tourism PNG, National Parliament, Cool Grafix, Kapeano and Free Lancers make up the top eight.
The Spin Doctors are led by captain Gabby Dai and comprise Jimmy Copard, Peter Yulu, Kupe Yore, Robert Biri, Larsen Kuan, Kim Kala and two females players Kaia Ovia and Clara Nawi.
“It’s been a great team effort, we’ve won 35 out of 40 games,” team official Kepson Pundu said.
“This year we are serious about the crown after losing to CRE in last year’s finals.
“Our focus is right and I hope we continue winning in the finals,” he said. “We respect our opponents but we are as hungry as ever and we want the title.”
