Sports, apparel retailer extends sponsorship

THE Papua New Guinea Olympic Committee has extended its sponsorship agreement with one of the country’s leading sports equipment and apparel retailer Trophy Haus Limited.
A renewed contract effective as of Jan 15, this partnership will last for another 12 months’ period which includes various benefits for the PNGOC and its members and affiliates.
PNGOC secretary general Desmond Kaviagu said, “the extension of our partnership with Trophy Haus is more than just a sponsorship agreement”.
“It’s a collaboration that brings real value to our athletes and current 40-member and affiliate national federations who are looking to purchase sporting equipment and gear for their upcoming events whilst also supporting our programmes and fundraising initiatives.”
Trophy Haus will provide store credit worth K20,000, a corporate discount of 28.5 per cent on PNGOC and Team PNG purchases and a 20 per cent discount to members of national federations.
Additionally, Trophy Haus will provide an extra K20,000 to support sports clinics through the Olympic Values Programme, while continuing to support PNGOC’s Trukai Fun Run event by selling T-shirts in their various retail outlets.
