Stability is questionable

NO one disagrees with the aged-old maxim that a country’s political stability is the pillar and choice rather than an option if a country were to progress and prosper. Such stability is made possible only by a larger group of like-minded elected leaders electing to run the countries affairs. The question though is the type of regime being embraced and whether the country’s best interests are being served or not. Thus, political stability may still be intact because of the numerical strength of the like-minded MPs forming the regime but may or may not be serving a country’s best interests or do worse, if such a regime is psychopathic, autocratic, bigoted or corruptive.
