Why are we still in the dark PPL?

PNG Power put out a planned load shedding schedule mainly for the Waigani area of NCD for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week. It’s rather baffling that we continue to have these persistent load shedding or unexplained blackouts when the residents and consumers were assured by PPL and the State Enterprises Ministers not so long ago assured the consumers that load shedding or power blackouts would be a thing of the past. So doesn’t PPL now feel obliged to explain the reasons for these persistent load shedding or unexplained blackouts?  It is critical and in the interest of uninterrupted business activity, productivity and minimal lost time that the government departments and agencies, businesses and the general consumers are sufficiently forewarned about such power interruptions.
