THE Kiriwina-Goodenough students attending Dauli Teachers College are calling on their local MP and Minister for Forestry Douglas Tomureisa to urgently look into the non-payment of their tuition fees. They will be suspended by the second semester if their fees are not fully paid. There are a total of ten students (five under HECAS with K2,800 fees each and the other five under self-sponsorship with K6,800 fees each) with the total fees of K48,000. Apart from tuition fees, their K500 pocket allowance every three months as promised by the member is taking ages to be implemented. The students are wondering what the education coordinator Fabian Mokulabeta, district administrator Labui Bua and the management team are doing about this as they have cut communication with the students.
