Still waiting for NID, birth certificate

IT is frustrating that those of us who have registered for our National Identification (NID) cards and birth certificate are waiting for months to get them.
The officers in the NID office keep telling us to check next week and many ‘next weeks’ have gone by.
I hope this letter reaches the minister that oversees the NID project.
We can’t bank accounts because of the delay in issuing NID cards and birth certificates.
We can’t submit new applications because we don’t have those documents.
We can’t purchase plane tickets.
This is unacceptable and injustice to citizens.
