HOT favourites Sikmac Storm and Baruni Eagles will face off in what is going to be an entertaining battle for the inaugural Hanuabada Village women’s nines crown at Konedobu Oval tomorrow.
Both teams are unbeaten in their respective pools after three matches each.
The nines tournament is aimed at identifying Motu-Koitabu women league talents for the Lalokau FM Hawks team in the Port Moresby Rugby League this season.
“It’s not about winning the Go-Go Cola-sponsored cup, plate or bowl but it is to promote women’s participation in rugby league and gender equality in the community,” said tournament founder and director Nao Boge.
