JIWAKA Rotary Club founder Frank Goi said Cathy Kaman and Abraham Caspar attending the Nondugul Primary School in Jiwaka had left for Sydney to attend the Rotary Youth Training Leadership programme.

Goi said the Rotary clubs in Australia would later help the two raise money for the dental health programme in Jiwaka.

“The week-long Rotary Youth Training Leadership programme will start this Friday,” he said.

“The programme aimed to mould youths as potential leaders and educate them.”

Goi said Kaman and Caspar would be representing the PNG Rotary Club at the training leadership programme which would be attended by other Rotary clubs in Australia.

“After that, they will stay another five weeks to do fundraising,” he said.

Goi said the Jiwaka Rotary Club had existed for five years and had sent  24 people to attend various Rotary programmes in Australia.
