MEMBERS of the Nambawan Super Ltd (NSL) can pay less for medical services at the Pacific International Hospital – thanks to a partnership agreement between the two organisations.
The renewal of the discount partnership agreement was signed during the recent Nambawan Super annual employer conference in Port Moresby.
NSL chief executive officer Paul Sayer said members would save 20 per cent of the cost of laboratory, radiology and in-patient services by presenting their member identification cards at PIH.
“Presenting their Nambawan Super member ID cards will also (allow) members to pay only K30 for general consultation, and K60 for specialist consultation.
“Currently, the cost for these services are K55 and K125 respectively,” he added. PIH chief executive officer Col Sandeep Shaligram said the hospital provided “world-class medical tertiary services in the South Pacific region”.
“We are the only private sector Level 7 tertiary care facility and ISO-accredited service provider in PNG,” he said.
Sayer welcomed the partnership as it will benefit NSL members. “This discount partnership with PIH will also cut costs for those members who urgently want to see a specialist to get a diagnosis,” he said.
PIH is one of seven medical health providers which are part of Nambawan Super’s discount partnership programme.
“Nambawan Super offers over 160 discount providers in PNG, where members can shop and save, using their Member ID.”
