Support plans, public servants told

PUBLIC servants working for the Huon Gulf district development authority in Morobe have been told to support development plans in the district.
Chief executive officer Andrew Namuesh made this remark during the handing over of vehicles for the administration and for the Morobe and Salamaua local level government managers by MP Jason Peter last Thursday.
Namuesh said developments would only take place if workers supported them.
“Small changes we are putting in place are to change our (habits) not to chew betel nut, not to smoke and not to drink alcohol,” he said.
“We must change first for others to follow. Change for the district to grow and become a model.”
