THE Port Moresby General Hospital pharmacy has received K300,000 worth of medical consumables from the Alphabet Foundation of Sydney, Australia.
Inchscape shipping services general manager Bob Bennett delivered the consumables to the hospital’s pharmacy. His company had shipped the donation free of charge from Australia.
Officer in charge of the pharmacy Winnie Bariamu said the donation was timely because they were just in the process of placing orders for new supply of drugs
and consumables.
She said supplies were received from the area medical store in Badili on a monthly basis and the donation should boost the supply at the pharmacy.
