Teachers still left in the dark

Letters

AS a graduate teacher, some of us are still waiting for our pay and it is mid-November.
We have suffered for the past months (in some cases, it’s been years).
We have to pay for bus fare, food, rent and other necessities, and our families are tired of waiting.
I have seen many walk away from this profession.
If the Education Department wants the best from teachers, they have to give the best to us as well.
We are building PNG’s future human resource.
The education salaries division should step up and maybe create an website and publish lists and information so that we know when to we will be paid or if our applications are unsuccessful – tell us exactly what we have missed and/or what is going on.
Someone please give us some answers.
