Team praised for winning

 THE National Housing Commission (NHC) public servants netball team are more than winners.

The NHC team made up of staff and their partners and children pulled off a great win in the division three NCD Public Servants netball grand final on Saturday.

They beat Water PNG 23-20 in a close game.

NHC managing director John Dege described them as champions. 

“Not only are we building houses to improve people’s lives but we are setting the example on sporting field as well,” he said.

“You women are champions at work, at home and during this sporting activity after hours.” 

Dege commended Caroline Rei for being awarded the best shooter and Sara Alu the best defender for the grand-final.
