Tech firm partners Kina Bank to help small businesses

SMALL and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Papua New Guinea can now try to improve their businesses through a partnership between SNS Tech and Kina Bank PNG.
SNS Tech, a nationally-owned technology firm, has entered into partnership with Kina Bank PNG to support SMEs in the digital economy. SNS Tech said in a media statement that the partnership would enable SMEs to engage with SNS Tech to have their websites developed or modified and enhanced with an e-commerce platform.
“Customers can then pay for products and services instantly using Kina Bank’s internet payment gateway,” the statement said.
“This is revolutionising the way SMEs do business.
“What was once only accomplished by large companies in the country is now the best move forward for these enterprises, especially in today’s digital world.
“While revenue generation and customer engagement are the fundamental advantages in e-commerce adoption and implementation, there are valuable rippling effects. SMEs can further expand domestic commerce and increase their competitiveness in the global market.”
