popular TV Think Tank Quiz, which runs on the Kundu 2 network, will be televised three times this weekend to celebrate the Melanesian Spearhead Group’s 25th anniversary.

As part of the celebrations, the Foreign Affairs and Immigration Department and the MSG secretariat decided to host a special quiz challenge.

The quiz will feature questions on the history, culture, geography, politics trade and agreements of the five MSG countries PNG, Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Solomon Islands.

Three episodes will be aired on Kundu 2 from Friday to Sunday at 8:30pm each night.

The first episode will feature the Morata, Boreboa, Waigani and Evedana primary schools in NCD; the second episode will feature Caritas, Marianville, Jubilee and De La Salle secondary schools, and the final episode will feature the University of Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Adventist University.

Winners in the first two categories will receive K300 and a desktop computer for their respective schools while the tertiary winner will receive K300 and a laptop.

The show’s host John Kama said Think Tank quiz was the only quiz show aired on television throughout the Pacific Islands region and was established as a community service to support the literacy goals of the Education Department.
