Telikom draws ‘lucky 13’ winner with K35,000 still to be won

FIVE people have each won K1000 in Telikom PNG’s 13th draw of its cash giveaway promotion.
K35,000 remains to be won, according to products and business development manager Corney Alone.
The five winners are Veronica Palts Lawyers, Lin Xing, Lin Li Qiu, Russell Woruba and the Ponderosa Family Hotel.
Woruba, a communications director with the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Central, told The National that he needed a lot of data for his work and was grateful for the cash prize.
He said the data package provided by Telikom suited his work.
He usually recharges his account using his Visa card.
“It is always a bonus to get some money. I have a few things to sort out and the cash prize was a blessing,” Woruba said
A customer has to buy a minimum recharge of K20 to go in the weekly draw. The draw is done electronically.
The competition started last October and is expected to end next month. So far 65 customers have won money.
