LAE resident Gela Kalumu is the proud winner of the Telikom ‘living large’ September promotional draw.
Mr Kalumu won a K10,000 Brian Bell shopping voucher to be spent on any white goods of his choice.
At the draw held last Friday at the Telikom head office in Port Moresby, head of Telikom retail services, James Banduru said Telikom was looking at giving back something to its customers who had been faithful to this State-owned company over the years.
Mr Banduru said the promotion was looking at helping Papua New Guineans live a positive life and improve their standard of living.
As a partner of Telikom offering support to this promotion, Air Niugini’s deputy general manager Dominic Kaumu said Air Niugini was happy to assist in this promotion by flying winners from their home provinces to Port Moresby and back with their prizes.
Speaking to The National over the phone from Lae, an excited Mr Kalumu, 56, who owns a printing company in Lae, said it was time the company gave something back to its faithful customers.
According to the Telikom acting-marketing manager Xavier Victor, this was the third of five monthly draws that started in July, and would culminate in the final  November draw which would see the
winner walk off with K50,000 home improvement package designed to secure a new home for the winner.
Mr Victor said Telikom was fortunate to have onboard its three partners in this promotional drive that made it easier.
For instance, Air Niugini provided airfare to fly winners to and from their respective locations to collect prizes, Brian Bell provided discounts to the winners and assistance to ship their order of white goods while Bank South Pacific sets up new accounts immediately for the winners.
