HELPING each other to help others is the basis of Telikom PNG raising its hand to assist the Boroko Rotary Club transport its items for a surprise donation visit to Kupiano in Abau district, Central province.
Under Telikom’s goodwill gesture and the club’s aim to provide assistance to improve the livelihood of the people, particularly in the rural areas, club president Kevin Zimmerman organised the trip to Kupiano with Telikom PNG providing a Toyota Dina, fuel and staff to load and transport the cargo for free.
Three key establishments in Kupiano were the lucky recipients of the club’s donation.
The recipients included:
* Kupiano health centre which received six beds;
* Kupiano Secondary School which receiving boxes of books; and 
* Kupiano Elementary School receiving much needed desks for the students.
Kupiano town councillor Andrew Baine, who received the donations, was overwhelmed with the kind gesture.
