THE chief executive of the International Container Terminal Services Incorporation South Pacific Ted Muttiah has retired.
The company was awarded two 25-year terminal operating and development concessions by PNG Ports Corporation in July 2017.
It’s operating companies, South Pacific International Container Terminal, started in Lae on Feb 1, and the Motukea International Terminal started in Port Moresby on May 23, 2018.
Muttiah led ICTSI South Pacific’s positioning of its market profile exceptionally well, a company official said.
“The company relatively unknown beyond its immediate operating environment at the start of this year, today is fast rising as an easily recognisable brand name alongside other household names with much longer tenures in PNG.”
The official said there had not been any disruptions since work began.
