TFF policy is a scam

Letters

WHILE it is the prerogative of the Government to decide on reducing the Tuition Fee Free (TFF) funding by 50 per cent, there are advantages and disadvantages of this decision.
As the chairman of ECOM Secondary School in Manus, we have been struggling to receive our share of the TFF each year.
We have not received any infrastructure component since the policy was introduced.
Many people do not understand that schools have not received their full TFF funds annually.
What is remitted comes very late and students are affected very badly in their learning.
In regards to my secondary school, the government owe us millions in TFF.
Why do the government budget for such activity when they cannot deliver?
TFF is another scam created by the government.
The reduction is a blow to the 1-6-6 policy and all secondary schools would be affected.
The government is not taking PNG back but throwing it to the dogs.
