Thank you Government

Letters

AS reported in your front page on Wednesday, Jan 11), “School is Free”.
As a struggling parent I am thankful to our good Prime Minister James Marape for this wise decision.
I have five kids attending schools from Grade 6 to 11 as well as other siblings attending schools and I was just thinking of withdrawing some from the school but your minister’s announcement indeed is a blessing not only to me but many other parents across the country as well.
Your decision will go down in the history of this country because it will be a huge relief from many parents like myself.
I must honestly say this from my heart, “Thank you Prime Minister James Marape”.
Your government’s priority in education is truly a blessing and will go a long way especially for many struggling parents.
As a parent, I am looking forward to making sure my children get the best.
As a parent I will play my part in meeting my children’s necessary requirements like school uniforms and stationery.
To the headmasters and principles, this is a clear message from the government that no school fees and project fees will be charged by any school. If a school is charging school fees or project fees you will be reported directly to the minister or even the Prime Minister.
Thank you Pangu-led Government.
