Thank you Juffa for police vehicles

Letters

THANK you to the Northern Governor Garry Juffa for the police vehicles that were given to the Popondetta police.
I am curious to know if the vehicles are for family use.
The vehicles are seen transporting family members.
The police personnel are on the vehicles and not patrolling on foot so petty crimes such pick pockets, bag and phone snatching are happening everyday.
Consuming homebrew is becoming worse and homebrew consumers roam around the town disturbing the people everyday.
Can the provincial police commander think of some measures to put a stop to these petty crimes?
I was born in the 60s and I grew up in Popondetta.
During those days, the law was very tough.
Back then, police arrested people carrying kitchen knives in public, breaking bottles or swearing.
I ask the Government to make the law tough so that the citizens are safe to move around freely without fear.
I went to Japan and saw females walking freely at night.
People who visited other countries may have seen this as well.
Can the police in Popondetta patrol on foot so it may help slow petty crimes?
