Thank you Tamati for your services

Letters

I WRITE on behalf of all former students of Kelerakwa Mission School’s class of 1966 in Abau, Central to congratulate Kila Tamati for the well-deserved Queen’s birthday honour as one of the pioneer teachers that benefited the lives of many.
You started your teaching carrier at our community as a mission school teacher in the early 60s and taught for five decades and finally retired as a primary school teacher at the same school.
Your legacy will live on.
Your invaluable contribution for the services in education and women’s development are honoured and greatly appreciated for being awarded Order of the British Empire (OBE).
Only few have the drive to be successful in their professions.
