THEODIST Ltd sees education as a top priority for the future of Papua New Guinea’s children and requires continuous support from all, chief executive officer Kumar Baliah says.
“That is why we continuously donate for educational causes. It is vital for the children’s future, and at the same time, serve our way of giving back to the people,” Baliah said.
Theodist donated desks to Hagara and Tatana primary schools on Friday.
“We hope our donations will positively impact school children and communities,”Baliah said.
National Capital District (NCD) governor Powes Parkop thanked Theodist for their contribution in advancing education.
“Theodist is a household name in Papua New Guinea, supplying stationery, including school materials, consistent with their goals to impact children and communities,” he added.
Motu Koita Assembly (MKA) chairman and NCD deputy governor Dadi Toka Jr said he was grateful for the partnership with Theodis.
“NCD Commission and MKA are always working together to fully empower communities in the villages and this school desk contribution will really help schoolchildren learn in a more conducive environment.”
