Three issues signal road to bankruptcy

Letters

WHY do we have to pretend when it comes to revealing the true state of affairs of our country’s financial status.
Three issues reported in the two daily papers last week is a clear indication of bankruptcy.
Soldiers pay issues not being sorted out, Tesas to be paid in April and three by-elections date have been deferred due to lack of funding.
It is obvious our country cannot help itself and faces ongoing money problems.
It is better we admit so help can be sought or a new strategy or remedies can be used to salvage our country of its ongoing financial crisis.
We try to fix one problem and there are several others popping up.
This is as a result of gross mismanagement of State funds by those at the helm in managing our country’s finances.
If bureaucrats and leaders operate under strict financial budgets, we can save much money for the rainy days and for emergencies.
Our country won’t be facing problem after problem as there would be funds available for use.
Why our country is facing so much money problems is because those in authority do not spend wisely.
I wonder if the words, budget and management, are understood by our top bureaucrats and leaders.
