THREE new teams have been included in Port Moresby’s Sportz Event League Nines competition, according to an official.
Sportz Event director Solomon Ravu confirmed that Kina Bank, Central Dairy (Ilimo Cowboys) and West Fume Contractors had been given the nod to join the competition at the Bava Park.
Ravu said 27 teams, divided into three pools (nine each), were participating in the competition.
“We are heading into round three with some exciting challenges in all the pool matches,” he said.
After round two last week, Finance Department Kobles, Price Water Cooper, Funeral Home, Brian Bell Allies, National Capital District Commission, PNG Power Ltd White and Spidertek maintain their unbeaten records with six points each.
Meanwhile, Ravu has warned teams not to field elite rugby league and union players.
