THREE police officers attached to Yangoru Station in East Sepik have been suspended for allegedly failing to carry out their duties, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) border command Peter Philip says.
Speaking from Wewak yesterday, ACP Philip said the three were the police station commander for Yangoru, a CID officer and a senior constable.
He said the three would be suspended for 21 days from yesterday with full pay.
ACP Philip warned policemen and women about taking sides in any situation.
He said the station commander had allegedly failed to control his senior constable when an incident happened in a village last month.
