THREE winners of the City Pharmacy back to school win a laptop promotion in Lae say the promotion will help them pursue their interests.
The promotion started on Jan 13 and ended on Feb 9 with winners from different City Pharmacy branch nationwide as well as Jacks of PNG.
Dick Apugo, who graduated with a Diploma in Nursing from the Lutheran School of Nursing in Madang, said the laptop he won would help him keep health data.
“I run a private clinic at Nadzab Airport and this laptop will help me save registration of patients and other health records,” Apugo said.
He said it would boost his work in the communities to bring basic health services to the people.
Apugo said he purchased medicines from City Pharmacy for his clinic with an aim to help people in rural communities.
Another winner Henry Effa said he had spent over K250 at Jacks of PNG and was happy to have had his name picked.
“I’m doing external studies with Department of Distance Learning (DODL) here in Lae, so the laptop will help me with my studies,” Effa said.
Third winner with City Pharmacy 2 at Lae’s Top Town James Tamngol from Jiwaka said he had done shopping for his daughters for school and had entered the competition. Tamngol said he would give the laptop to his daughter who was doing her first year at Madang Technical College. Meanwhile City Pharmacy Lae 2 manager Erly Villanueva said the competition was part of City Pharmacy’s appreciation for its customers. “We have over the years engaged in such promotions where we give back to our customers.”
