TICKETS for next month’s British Lions’ two-match tour of Papua New Guinea are on sale.
Oil Search National Football Stadium general manager Lee Pokarop said the sale of tickets had started on Wednesday.
The ticket prices are K35 (southern and northern stands), K45 (eastern stand), K60 (western stand) and K120 (grand stand).
Pokarop said there would be no ticket sales on game day (Nov 16).
“We hope our people plan in advance and buy their tickets because we’re expecting a sell-out,” he said.
Pokarop said the tickets were on sale at Brian Bell (Gordon and Boroko), Cool Stuff (Waterfront) and J-Mart (Erima).
“We believe the prices are affordable, given the nature of this match,” he said.
“For the first time, England will bring their women’s side to play the Orchids in an effort to develop the game in PNG.
“That is why our people should not wait until the last minute to buy tickets and be disappointed or turned away.”
The Orchids-England match is expected to be a curtain-raiser to the Lions-Kumuls clash.
