Tighten system

WHY are some vehicles listed on public tender by the National Procurement Authority last week for a certain government department being driven around in Port Moresby.
Normally all vehicles are grounded and parked in a yard for public inspection before bids are made by public.
There should be no preferences for public servants and minimum reserved prices be set for Toyota landcruisers at K25,000; double cab utilities at K20,000 and others at K10,000.
The Kina had depreciated and most of the vehicles underwent full service at an average of K15,000 within the past 12 months.
All past insider deals has been corrected for all state properties to go on public tender and all proceeds reverted into consolidated revenue of Finance department.
It is hoped the new procurement authority will take out its auction fees and revert proceeds to the consolidated revenue of stead of some bogus holding accounts.
