Tom Cruise split from his Russian socialite girlfriend in order to avoid issues with her outspoken oligarch ex, a source tells Page Six.
Following news that Cruise and Elsina Khayrova were dating, her ex-husband — the colourful international diamond trader, Dmitry Tsvetkov — gave a long interview to the Daily Mail detailing their marriage and warning Cruise to “keep his eyes and wallet wide open.”
A source tells Page Six that the article worried the very private star’s team.
“He’s filming and can’t be shooting and have her husband saying stuff every time he is mentioned in the press,” the source said. “They just didn’t want to deal with the ex husband coming up with something nasty to say every few weeks.”
Tsvetkov — who reportedly prefers the term “tycoon” over oligarch — also somewhat unusually continuously fanned over Cruise during the interview, calling him his “favourite actor”, stating he has seen Eyes Wide Shut a whopping 30 times (and also loves Rain Man and The Firm), and added that he talked with a Hollywood producer pal about having Cruise play him in a movie about his life.
“I told the producer that the only actor who could play me is Tom Cruise,” quipped Tsvetkov to the UK outlet. “We’re about the same height and weight and I would be honoured if that could happen. I couldn’t think of anyone better to play me than Tom. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to meet him one day to discuss this project.”
Cruise has been making headlines as he currently films his eighth Mission: Impossible movie. The actor, 61, who known for doing his own stunts, was most recently seen sprinting through London for a scene.
The Sun reported that Cruise and Khayrova had split in late February with a source telling the outlet, “There are no hard feelings between them and, for Tom, their relationship simply ran its course.”
The wealthy Russian socialite is the daughter of a Vladimir Putin ally, Russian politician Rinat Khayrova.
Tsvetkov, who has British citizenship and was reportedly on the Kremlin’s most wanted list in 2020, claims to have survived assassination attempts.
In the Daily Mail article, he also said he spent over $US12 million (K45mil) on clothes and approximately $US2.5 million (K9.43mil) on handbags for his ex during their 11-year marriage. He also claimed he lost nearly $US200 million (K754mil) in the divorce.
Their split made international headlines as millions were in dispute, including a mansion in Surrey, England, five London apartments, a Bentley and a Ferrari, plus Cartier jewellery and artwork by Renoir and Chagall.
“Irrespective of whoever she’s with, Tom Cruise or anybody else, they should be aware that she likes the finer things in life and has expensive and luxurious tastes,” he told the publication.
But we hear that Khayrova, 36, is still hopeful she and Cruise could rekindle their romance. – Page Six

Joy accuses ex 50 Cent of rape, physical abuse
50 Cent and Daphne Joy

Daphne Joy has accused her ex, 50 Cent, of physically and sexually assaulting her.
In an Instagram, Joy, 37 directly addressed her ex 50 Cent, 48, by putting his full legal name — Curtis James Jackson — at the top of the post. They share a 12-year-old son, Sire, together.
“Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on,” she wrote. Jackson has denied the claims.
“You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false claims made against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time.”
Joy’s claims have come following 50 Cent’s decision to pursue sole custody of their son, Sire. According to the rapper’s representative, 50 Cent is doing so because of the allegations in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit against Diddy that Joy worked as a sex worker.
“The disturbing allegations in the sworn pleadings recently filed in a court case related to Daphne Joy, the mother of my twelve year old child, has required me to take all necessary legal actions to protect my son Sire. The most recent false and baseless accusations by Daphne Joy are clearly in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. My son Sire is my main priority and keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time.” – People

Aussie star hits back at Rebel Wilson over memoir
Rebel Wilson

Another of the celebrities Rebel Wilson, pictured, calls out in her controversial new memoir has hit back at the star, saying her comments about him are “hurtful and disgusting”.
In her new book Rebel Rising, Wilson opens up about her experiences working on what was her TV breakthrough, playing the character of Toula on the SBS cult comedy Pizza in the early noughties.
Wilson writes that her role in the show “was to be the big fat whale that got laughs”, and that the atmosphere on the show was akin to a “special men’s club”.
“I was in a boys’ show, so I had to take their fatphobic jokes right on my double chin,” she writes, in an excerpt first published by Stellar.
As her character’s popularity grew and Wilson started to field more opportunities, she claims that Pizza creator and star Fenech approached her on set to tell her simply: “You try too much.”
But Fenech has now hit back at Wilson’s claims, questioning her recollection of events in an interview with the Daily Mail.
“Rebel was happy building a career playing the big girl in Hollywood, now she’s saying we did her wrong? We gave her a start, took her around the world, gave her stage training and TV and feature film opportunities. How ungrateful,” Fenech fumed to the outlet.
“I guess she’ll do or say anything to sell a book.”
Fenech also insisted that he and the rest of the Pizza cast and crew gave Wilson “the creative freedom she needed”, and argued she should have thanked them in the book, rather than complaining about her time on the show.
“No thank you, no gratitude, (and calling us) fatphobic? It’s hurtful and disgusting to me to hear this,” he said.
Fenech isn’t the only celebrity Wilson names in her book who’s publicly hit back at her claims. – news.com.au

Sean Combs’ homes raided
Sean Combs

Officials raided two of Sean Combs’, pictured, homes on Monday, a law-enforcement source confirmed to Rolling Stone, as part of a federal sex-trafficking investigation.
Led by Homeland Security, the raid was carried out just four months after the rap mogul’s ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie, accused Combs of sex trafficking.
Helicopters and agents were seen swarming Combs’ Los Angeles mansion. Footage of the scene appeared to show some men — later identified as Combs’ sons Justin and King — detained and waiting outside of the Holmby Hills house.
Officials were also present at Combs’ Miami residence. Combs was in Florida at the time of the raid, according to NBC News, and officials reportedly seized his phones before the Bad Boy Records executive was scheduled to leave for a trip to the Caribbean. – Rolling Stone
